1. Video Background and Transcript

Luigi lives with his mother and father and has no siblings. Spanish is his dominant home language, but he speaks both English and Spanish while at preschool. He has attended a dual-language preschool for 1.5 years. Luigi plays cooperatively with other children and has several close friends. In this video, he is listening as a peer reads a story. He listens to the story, and places the characters on the felt board, as the story is being read. Transcript

3. Measures Reflected by the Evidence

The teacher initially used this clip to document the student’s understanding and response to English literacy activities, yet a good piece of evidence might address multiple measures. We are not assigning a developmental level, but rather saying that this video clip could be evidence for the measures. Measures Reflected by the Evidence: Storytelling
