1. Video Background and Transcript

Brenda is 4 years old. She is a dual language learner, and did not know any English when she started in the dual language program at 3 years old. She has been in the program for one year at the time of this video. The teacher read a story about sharks in English to the entire class. Now Brenda has drawn a picture after story time, and is dictating to her teacher what is happening in her drawing.
