The California Preschool Curriculum Framework provides a wealth of information on best practices to support young dual language learners.  This information falls into the following categories; guiding principles, environment and materials, family supports, and teacher interactions and strategies.  Current research strongly suggests that use of these practices is critical to the long term success of dual language learners.
